Back to Blogging...Bridesmaid Dresses

I didn't mean to stay away from my blog for so long! I'll update on all the happenings since my last post at some point soon. But for now, I have a question for you all:

Bridesmaids' dresses:

If you have been a bride, or a bridesmaid, where have you shopped for dresses and what was your experience like? Where would you recommend and where should I stay away from?

All your thoughts and opinions are really appreciated, as I am scheduling our appointment soon!

  1. I didn't buy my wedding dress from the same place that my bridesmaids dresses were from. My bridesmaids got their dresses from David's Bridal. Made it easy since they were all in different states. I just picked a color and they went in and ordered whatever dress they wanted that came in that color.

  2. I'm trying to figure this out too! It will likely be David's Bridal that we go to. But I've also been in love with Alfred Angelo's dresses. And he has a bridal salon on Sawmill Rd! I think they're relatively affordable and look high fashion. I really suggest looking at his website, located here:

  4. My bridesmaids got their dresses from David's Bridal. If you're looking for an inexpensive dress that will look good/great on all, I would go there. However, you may also want to check out http://www.ariadress.com/. They have a few locations around the country so if anyone is traveling, they can try them on. However, they are more expensive - $160+.

  5. I've had multiple dresses from the bridal shop be got Katie's dresses from. They have always been helpful and have a large selection. They take measurements over the phone, so you don't have to worry about the out of town guests. I found that they personalized the experience more than David's Bridal. It was easier b/c we each got our own space instead of 8 girls sharing one dressing room like I had to at davids bridal.
